FreeTDS support of Availability Groups

Reading a previous post (
http://lists.ibiblio.org/pipermail/freetds/2015q1/029244.html) and assuming
this is still the case (FreeTDS does not currently support availability
groups (AlwaysOn)), are there any plans to add support for this in the near
future?
