FreeTDS in Debian/Ubuntu package repository

Hi,

There is FreeTDS 1.0 more than one year released, but Debian/Ubuntu 
package repositories still lists old 0.91-6 versions:
https://packages.ubuntu.com/yakkety/libs/freetds-bin

I do not know how are these packages in repositories maintained, but is 
there any way how to update version of FreeTDS ?
