I believe he means that passing SQL_ATTR_AUTOCOMMIT with SQL_AUTOCOMMIT_OFF/SQL_AUTOCOMMIT_ON to SQLSetConnectionAttr doesn't change whether or not the connection is in autocommit mode. --jkl
