Excellent, thanks very much for that.  With a little luck, the Coverity
scan will pick it up, and we'll finally be able to check relevant code.

I'm not sure I understand.  When I run "make install", everything winds up
where it should.  What configure option isn't being followed?  Or is it
something else?
