The program actually errors out two separate times after the initial issue because it complains about data it's expecting. Suggestions: > > 1. Upgrade. > 2. My first obstacle was a missing odbc_config file. It turns out an odbc_config file was not included with my distribution (Ubuntu 8.04). After a bit of searching I found a custom one to use. Then when I would compile it wouldn't build the libtdsodbc file. After a lot of messing around I figured out I had to do ' ./configure --with-unixodbc=/usr ' to get it to build correctly. It was a pain, but a nice learning experience I guess :) Also, I still received the same error message if I had the TDSVER set to 4.2. Setting the version to 8.0 cleared the issue up and the application now launches and runs! There are still some issues with the application, although it's usable for the most part. However, the rest of the issues are wine related. Thanks again for the suggestion. That's another application I can cross off my list of reasons for still booting into my Windows XP virtual machine. -- Chad Sikorra
