n almalinux machine on=0Amy desktop. When ddd starts it creates an icon on =
the gnome taskbar. When I=0Aclose down ddd this icon does not get deleted s=
o I have a number of defunct=0Aicons on my taskbar not associated to any pr=
ogram. The only way to remove them=0Ais to log out and in again which is an=
noying but not the end of the world. It=0Adoes sometimes close the window s=
o there must be some circumstance when it=0Adoesn't but I have not spotted =
