Problems with make on rhe3 ws 64

Every time I try to make ddd 3.3.11 I get the following;
 
"ISO C++ forbids declaration of `STREAMPOS' with no type"
 
I have gcc 3.2.3 and perl 5.8.0 so there shouldn't be any problem there,
can anyone help?
