DDD 3.3.9 bug report

A couple of things. 

First, the obvious suggestion is try release newer than 3.3.9, like
3.3.12.

Second sending mime-encoded PDFs of a text file like the output of
configure makes enormous email 1.4M. PDF is not really required here,
Some mailing lists don't allow such huge files, but I see ddd does. By
sending such mail you also risk some people (such as myself under
certain cercumstances) not getting the mail because of mail quotas.
