I just tried to build this version of ddd under Solaris 8 (./configure; gmake)
and I get the following error:

gmake[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/ddd-3.3.12-test3/ddd'
gmake all-am

-o VSLRead.o VSLRead.C; \
then mv -f ".deps/VSLRead.Tpo" ".deps/VSLRead.Po"; else rm -f
".deps/VSLRead.Tpo"; exit 1; fi

Can you suggest anything that I can do to fix this?
