is not a core dump

HI!
 
when i run the command to dubugg test3.tcl         ddd ns test3.tcl   i get the following error message
"/home/farrukh/test3.tcl"  is not a core dump; file format not recognized (gdb)
 
can anyone please tell me the reason for this error n how can i remove it
