Dunno if this is it but the first line in NEWS is:
DDD-3.3.12-test

The obvious stock answer then is why not try with DDD-3.3.12-test2 and see.

Of course I suggest DDD-3.3.12-test5 from over a year ago (or even better
test6 in CVS).
