about change usd sparc gdb in ddd

Dear all:
I want to use ddd to debug my program running on sparc but I have no
idea how to change the gdb in ddd default.
Should I use options in configure as host, target to cross-compile a
sparc-gdb for me or what I have to do is only changing the setting in
ddd to let it point the sparc-gdb I already cross-compiled?
