The "file" command fail to run on ddd 3.3.11-14 on FC6 linux

I start ddd as follows:
$ ddd &
1] 21917

The "file" command fail to run on ddd 3.3.11-14 on FC6 linux:
(gdb) file /home/powah/prog/clt
Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1".
(gdb) 
malformed template specification in command

This window pop up:
"DDD: No Source
 /home/powah/prog/<<C++-namespaces>>: No such file or directory"


I can use the same "file" command with gdb:

$ gdb
