local variables ...

Morning,

I'm suddenly seeing <value optimised out> in my local variable 
display...and I cant get to see any variables ... I've just upgraded to 
the latest greatest ....I have looked through the preferences but can't 
find one that changes this.   I think I have turned off all the 
optimaisations in my compile too.

Any comments please
