Hi,

I'm still experiencing the same problems in my code. Maybe the title "follow variable" is not adequate. I'm rather looking for a possibility to control certain values of memory to see when, and by which part of the code they are changed?

I have to understand a very large c++ code and I'm not able to understand why some variables change in some point of the code...

Is there a solution to my problem?

Thanks very much in advance,
Kind regards,

Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

yeah. You can use "watchpoint" to follow a variable.
Hope this helps.

In the code the value of a variable is somewhere changed, and I don't have a clue where.

Is there a possibility to follow a variable throughout the code with ddd?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Kind regards,
Sebastian
