possible DDD bug, program hangs and prints "continuing" indefinitely

If DDD is running but my program is not, then when I search for a
particular function in my code DDD tells me it can't find it. However, when
I start the program and search for this function (which I know exists) then
DDD hangs and continually prints out "continuing" in the parser window. It
never recovers and completely locks up requiring me to kill it via the
terminal. Any ideas?
