I doubt that there is a fix except for rewrite of its GUI. It is the only Motif application that I'm still using and it is increasingly harder to keep it running well on newer distributions. I wouldn't proclaim that the project is dead, but it may be very close to that. Does anybody know is there any news on GTK port?
