DDD 3.3.12 (i386-apple-darwin14.5.0) gets Xt error (Unresolved inheritance operation)

ddd fails to start on Max os X 10.10.5 Yosemite.
No matter if I supply executable or try to start ddd without any parameters, the message I get says:

Error: Unresolved inheritance operation

Xt error (Unresolved inheritance operation).
