Re: ddd crash on Red Hat Linux 7.4

Third thing to try is to run DDD under GDB, repeat your test, and see 
where (or if) it is crashing.

If it crashes, then you can get a backtrace in GDB.  That might give a 
hint about why it is crashing and possibly answer your question about 
your configuration.  (I see a variety of odd behaviors with DDD on 
CentOS 7.4, the most common being that it stalls waiting for GDB.)

Hope this helps.  I've done very little internal work with DDD and most 
of the problems seem to be in the Motif interface, which is (to me, at 
least) unclear.
