Mac OS use of ddd

Hi,

I've installed ddd via terminal (i use vim) on my Mac laptop, but each time
I try to run the code, I receive the following message:

Error: Can't open display:

I've tried installing LessTif and uninstalling openMotif to no avail.

Is the ddd window compatible with Mac OS devices? If so, how would I be
able to run it?

My software is Mac OS 10.14.5 Mojave.
