Hi, I noticed this in the README file: For best results on Solaris, compile UPS with the SC4 C compiler, or the SC5 C compiler if you have it. Do you know: 1. Is this advice still current? 2. What are the symptoms of less than "best results" if one uses gcc 3.2.3 or gcc 2.95? I am seeing compile errors with these compilers and solaris and wonder if one of the sparc compilers is more a requirement than a recommendation. Thanks, Will -- William F.
