Which tool(s) do you mean? valgrind is an "umbrella" program which runs several tools including memcheck (the default tool), helgrind, cachegrind, drd, lackey, massif, and a few experimental tools such as exp-bbv and others. What you are asking depends on the tool. In general, the answer is "No", but there may be exceptions depending on the tool.
