I'll remove it, unless someone has an objection? By the time you see this
option, I guess it's too late to change it anyway!

Sadly, no. If you put it in the manual, no-one finds it. If you put it
as a textual in the options box, no-one finds it. Only by making it a
clickable button is it possible to stop the emails from people asking
how to do this.

Yes.

If you have a type that isn't being detected correctly, the filer's options box
is a reasonable place to look. I think these launchers are OK.

Don't know. We'll have to wait for a blackbox user to comment...

Last time I checked, all GNOME apps failed this. Might be time to recheck.
Try turning host names on for a bit and see what breaks? Changing the
default might be a good idea.
