So it may not be a fault in some terms, but is quite irritating as it doesn't tell you what you'd want to know! BTW since I have written the above I'll risk asking what I guess is a daft question that shows my ignorance... I can mount/use/dismount memory sticks, etc, via them appearing in the 'media' directory I've put onto the panel. This seems fine to me. So I have been wondering whilst reading this thread - what are the advantages of the new applet?
