Softpedia ROX-Filer announcement

Greetings,
     I received an e-mail yesterday, sent to my private e-mail address (ie
not to any list), an 'advert' for what appeared to be a Mac OSX version of
ROX Filer. The URL given was -

http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Wallpapers/ROX-Desktop.shtml

     Out of curiosity I downloaded the associated bz2 archive. It starts to
check the configuration and, because gtk2 is not present as standard on a
Mac, aborts with package not found messages.

     While it is interesting that someone in the Mac world has found ROX,
it is far more disturbing (to me at least) that it doesn't actually work
unless you have a non-standard Mac set-up. This might send a bad signal
about what is, after all, a very good filer system. Perhaps the developers
might like to contact Softpedia and have the offending entry
modified/removed - or something?
