Been a while since I've been able to look at this. Trying to run
version:
  Media-a43653afe84c1923da7db42cc5351d2c118ecb6e

I get a dialogue box asking if I want to auto mount, etc. then when I
hit the close icon I get the message 'Applet quit without ever
creating a widget!'

Working on debian squeeze with the openbox window manager.
