One of the features I added to ROX-Session was the ability to interact
with gdm for logging out and shutting down etc. AFAICT Ubuntu hasn't
switched to gdm3 yet so I can't think of any reason why that wouldn't
work. I don't use ROX any more so I can't remember whether I made the
gdm feature automatic or an option in the logout dialog.
