File selection remains active after contect menu action - Is that a bug

Hello,

After some struggle, I now got my Ubuntu (10.04 LTS) to run gnome combined with rox 2.10 file manager.
IMHO Rox really rox, but one thing that's really annoying:
When I right-click a file in a rox filer window and choose something from the context menu, this file remains selected after the operation (unless, of course, I removed it from its place). For example, in a filer window , I see in the properties of entry "important-file", and then this file remains selected, and then I right click "crap-file", and choose "delete", but rox still thinks I mean "important-file". And I have no Trash recovery. **** happens.

In case this explanation may be confusing, see the same question here, with screenshots:

How can this be fixed? I don't want files to remain selected after a context menu operation.
I found that this but does not come in Lucid Puppy 5.0.0 that uses rox 2.10 combined with JWM window manager, so maybe it is a window manager issue? (I know very little about how a WM works but I thought maybe...)

Thank You
