I often drag given 'types' of files to different things for various purposes. Don't want the defined run/load action to change according to what I last did some while ago. To avoid problems you'd need some for of modified dnd - e.g. like holding down a particular key when dropping. Even so, I can't personally see this as being difficult using the current system. So wouldn't really want a change.
