Just to let people know I've now written a simple audio recorder program. This is called ROXAudioRecorder and can be downloaded via a link from http://www.audiomisc.co.uk/software/index.html The source code is included as usual. And the download is a 21k tgz. It saves recordings as LPCM wave files. It works here for all the USB ADCs I have. But note I've only designed it to cover stereo 16/24/32 bit LPCM. There is a Help file in the application's directory to explain how to set it up and use it. I hope that it should work with most audio cards and devices that use the common ALSA formats, etc. There's a Help file provided to explain in more detail.
