Rox getting flaky?

I'm seeing quite a few times when Rox Session either locks up or disappears
completely. For the former I have to do a reboot, and in the latter case I can
open a terminal in Openbox and restart Rox.

This seems to have started a couple of years ago, and is steadily getting
worse. I'm wondering if OS updates are breaking it. Is anyone else seeing the
same thing?
