I think we should stick to the events mentioned in the issues quoted previously: scroll, ctrl + scroll, double click.
The list of actions for scroll and ctrl + scroll would be the same (like progressing through a sequence of states), while the one for double click would be different (like reaching a limit state).

You should have forking permissions soon :)
