Hello folks,

in xfwm we're still supporting the old xwfm4rc file. If I'm correct, it
gets loaded before xfconf and later on these values are also written
back to xfconf (automatic migration). So, unless somebody upgrading from
a very old version, everybody should already have migrated his rc
settings to xfconf, long ago.

IMHO, the only reason for keeping xfwm4rc is for people who still do
active changes there, eg. some automatic provisioning - and those cases
would be very old systems that won't receive automatic upgrades anyways.

Is there anybody out there who's still using this file ?

Or can we just drop it and reduce a lot of complexity here ?
