First contribution

Hey, how are you?

I am reading to submit my first merge request. I read the guidelines and
read that I need to ask for permission, so here I am. :-)

The link https://docs.xfce.org/ee/user/project/merge_requests/start is
broken, so I am not sure what I really need to do regarding "get a
contributor's account" (I suppose it is a regular GitLab account).

Also, I can't fork the project.
