The Xfce 4.4 Beta1 xfce4-mount-plugin-0.4.5 has an option to "specify own commands for mounting/unmounting". So, I guess you should try the latest version from Berlios<http://developer.berlios.de/project/showfiles.php?group_id=910>on Beta1 <http://www.xfce.org/archive/xfce-4.3.90.1/>.
