basic questions for new plugin

Hi,
I'm working on a new little plugin that behaves like
the "kwikdisk -removable media utility" in KDE. The
plugin is far from being complete but it is working ok
and could possibly be released.

- Where can i post/send a first source tarball ??

- Is there an easy way to ship an icon with it ? I
curently load an icon from KDE which looks fine, but i
don't know how to include it in the project (and use
autoconf to install it in the right location).
