OS - Suse Linux 9.2 AMD64
Kernel - 2.6.8-24.14-default
glib - 1.2.10-589
gtk - 1.2.10-882
xfce - 4.2.2

Yes, I executed "killall -USR1 xfce4-panel". I will try to install the 
plugin on another system
and to verify the problem. I will send a message to you if I know more.....
