xkb-plugin names & flags

Hi.

I have two layouts in my xorg.conf file: us and es. I can switch between
them either with a key combination or by clicking the button that I added to
my panel. (xfce4-xkb-plugin) 

This is what is displayed on the button label when I switch between these
two layouts:

Layout	Text		Flag
us		"PC"		none, "PC" is also shown
es		"US"		United States

You can imagine how annoying and confusing this is. So, where does the
plugin take the names and flags from, so that I can change that to something
coherent. I care the most about the text, flags don't really matter.
