Interesting, I didn't know this plugin...
I can probably do the port of this plugin myself(even if I don't have much time these days), 
but I think that the first thing to do is to take contact with the guy who wrote this 
(seems to be Emanuele Rocca <[email protected]>) in order to know his feeling about this. If he agreed, I will
do it ;).
