FT2232 is FTDI's latest chip ... doc and sample design on their web site. John Pretty cool. what about FTDI company? they seem to be recommended quite a bit. Do you have schematics for the board, and drivers? FTDI advertises a development board with an Altera device with 10K equiv gates. Probably need something a little bit bigger. Some day I will actually start making the calculations how many gates are needed. david --- jbass-/[email protected] wrote: > Elektron <elektron_rc5-FFYn/[email protected]> > > USB support is possible too, but it'll be harder > to implement on an > > FPGA. > > Been there ... done that :) ... was a 3 hour design > to include on two > FPGA boards here. > > Piece of cake using FT2232, or the earlier fifo > chips in bit bang mode. > Use A channel as a JTAG port, and interface the B > channel in fifo mode > to FPGA data pins. > > John > _______________________________________________ > Hardware mailing list > Hardware-Ra3b/QYEcJ3d140v2zMXi0fjHoOT/h/[email protected] > http://lists.distributed.net/mailman/listinfo/hardware > _______________________________________________ Hardware mailing list Hardware-Ra3b/QYEcJ3d140v2zMXi0fjHoOT/h/[email protected] http://lists.distributed.net/mailman/listinfo/hardware _______________________________________________ Hardware mailing list Hardware-Ra3b/QYEcJ3d140v2zMXi0fjHoOT/h/[email protected] http://lists.distributed.net/mailman/listinfo/hardware
