Re: Fully unrolled RC5 on FPGA

The project board does sound like an off the shell type board, 
unfortunately nobody makes one with a chip large enough. Adding features 
to the layout of the board does not add the cost beyond design time and 
a little bit of board space - it is an option whether the extra chip is 
soldered to the board or not.
The architecture of the pipelined core prevents it from being fit on any 
readily available Spartan 3 (that I know about)
The fully-looped (?) design is much smaller and several could be fit on 
a readily available Spartan 3. I haven't done the design yet but I'm 
willing to guess that it's a similar price/performance value.
