OGR 64 bit...

Indeed, I'm running an AMD
6-core CPU, and I wouldn't dare go back to a 32 bit client for
OGR; 64 bit Windows 7 + 64 bit client = vast performance
increase.

Cheers,

Korey

Which client are you using? For maximum performance, you must run 64 bit
OS AND 64-bit client. Both Windows 64-bit and Linux/AMD64 clients are
available on download page. OGR performance is greatly improved by
64-bitness:

Brand ID : "Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60GHz"

OGR-NG: using core #2 (cj-asm-sse2).

OGR-NG #b: Completed 27/9-2-40-10-17-6 (35.69 stats units)
0.00:11:04.99 - [53,669,729 nodes/s]

Not overclocked, default (box) cooler settled at 1500 RPM, CPU
temperature 59C.
