I have two ISP's. One one network I have a perproxy set up and have not had this connectivity issue. On the second net, I only have one linux box crunching OGR, and it has the connectivity issue now and then. Three or four days ago it flat couldn't connect to receive work, it could send work okay though. So to get work I temporarily plugged it into the other net to download work. The issue popped up again in a couple days when I tried -update and couldn't receive work. And multiple tries it couldn't receive. But as was commented on about the OS/2 bug, I noticed that the linux system was not rotating through other servers either. I waited a couple hours, tried it again and it worked fine. I have not had any other dns issues with that linux box for the past three years. Just feeding this into they system as info for whoever may be trying to troubleshoot the issue. :-) Andrew Hime wrote: I had this issue I believe yesterday with my main work box. Restarting the client multiple times didn't fix it, but rebooting the box did. Oh yeah, Windows 7, for the record. I've seen a fair number of my boxen cracking RC5 lately. 64-bit clients too, for maximum insult. _______________________________________________ rc5 mailing list rc5-Ra3b/QYEcJ3d140v2zMXi0fjHoOT/h/[email protected] http://lists.distributed.net/mailman/listinfo/rc5
