ATI graphics card choice

Hi all

 

I have been thinking about getting an ATI card for some time now mainly to
help RC 5 out plus a few other projects. I'm thinking about getting a
Sapphire HD 7970 Vapor-X for $436.92 New Zealand to get it at this price I
need to order it on the morning of the 26th New Zealand time or the 25th US
time. Are these a good option? I will be running it on a PCIE 2.0 slot
alongside a GTX 660 TI on a gigabyte GAUDR3  rev 1 motherboard. Please find
