Hi all, is it possible for me to follow someone's stats for a couple of days with a 7970 to see how many keys are returned per day. Will it be able to achieve 3.6 GK/sec on a PCIE 2.0? Thanks Cheers Jarod From: rc5-bounces+myself=jlmcclintock.com-Ra3b/QYEcJ3d140v2zMXi0fjHoOT/h/[email protected] [mailto:rc5-bounces+myself=jlmcclintock.com-Ra3b/QYEcJ3d140v2zMXi0fjHoOT/h/[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mike Reed Sent: Saturday, 24 August 2013 11:30 p.m. To: D.net Discussion Subject: Re: [RC5] ATI graphics card choice Hi Jarod, The 7970 has 2048 Stream Processors, so it would be super at RC5. Our speeds database has two entries for this card, one showing 3 Gk/sec and the other showing 3.6 Gk/sec. The more important question is:- how much do you need the other features? :) Kind regards, Mike On 24 August 2013 10:13, Jarod McClintock <[email protected]> wrote: Hi all I have been thinking about getting an ATI card for some time now mainly to help RC 5 out plus a few other projects. I'm thinking about getting a Sapphire HD 7970 Vapor-X for $436.92 New Zealand to get it at this price I need to order it on the morning of the 26th New Zealand time or the 25th US time. Are these a good option? I will be running it on a PCIE 2.0 slot alongside a GTX 660 TI on a gigabyte GAUDR3 rev 1 motherboard. Please find link to stats sheet. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3305#sp power supply won't be an issue I have 1000 watts Thanks for advice you can give me Cheers Jarod _______________________________________________ rc5 mailing list rc5-Ra3b/QYEcJ3d140v2zMXi0fjHoOT/h/[email protected] http://lists.distributed.net/mailman/listinfo/rc5 _______________________________________________ rc5 mailing list rc5-Ra3b/QYEcJ3d140v2zMXi0fjHoOT/h/[email protected] http://lists.distributed.net/mailman/listinfo/rc5
