Make and Edit database

I have been reading over this website... http://cr.yp.to/cdb.html  after
installing what seems successfuly. 

However it is all going over my head on how to simple make a database
and edit and existing one.

My databases are to but nothing extreme just simple to hold a username
and a password for people I want accessing my FTP server.  

I will start with 3 usernames and passwords but willwant to add to it
later on so I would ask to know how to edit it also.
