I suggest you try spoofing POP3 sessions from the PCs _and_ Macs to confirm that the POP3 server side is doing what you'd expect. The Q-Cards that Dave mentions have this (see the previously given link), esp. the 'Telnet', 'POP Id' and 'POP Password' sections. If the PCs behave the same as the Macs when spoofing as above, it's your client software that's doing something wierd. If they're different, I guess posting the respective results to the list is the next step. cheers, Andrew.
