E-mail is sent using SMTP, not POP3. That's where you should be looking.

Looking at your earlier message, you state,

Esp. note 'receive', contrary to your new information 'the MAC email program
will receive...'. By not clearly stating your problem, it has
taken much longer to track it down, and you have wasted people's time on
this list. Take the time to state your problem clearly and _precisely_ in
future: This shows appropriate respect to list members who are in effect
solving your problem for free, and is likely to give you a far more rapid answer.
