Ah. Excellent. You should always try that first for SMTP.

At home only (unfortunately :)

Well, no. Mine is set to use SMTP AUTH since I was connecting to my mail
server from outside their allowed IP block. But that changed recently:
I'm on an "allowed" IP now, so I should probably turn the SMTP AUTH off
and go back to "None".

Not built in, but there may be a patch.
