help with checkpassword

Hi!
I'm trying to install qmail 4 the first time so I'm not so expert.
Now I'm trying to set checkpassword and qmail-pop3d for giving to the server
POP3 capabilities.
This is my qmail-pop3d run file
exec /usr/local/bin/softlimit -m 6000000 \
/usr/local/bin/tcpserver -v -R -H -l 0 0 110 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup
\ fama-qmail.maldura.it /bin/chechpassword
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d Maildir 2>&1
When I try to telnet to localhost port 110 with this command
user andrea
OK+
pass andrea
I receive the following error
-ERR unable to write pipe
Connection closed by foreign host
As you can see I set the softlimit quota to 6000000 because it seems to be a
memory allocation problem but nothing has changed.
My system is redhat 9.0 and all the packages has been patched. I don't use
VPOP or any other package, it's just a qmail standard installation.
The SMTP works fine!
What's wrong? Any ideas?
